While the New 2013 collection, The Timekeeper's Garden, has been in production, veteran Character Constructions designer, Nancy Gene Armstrong, has been immersed in her studio pushing the bounderies of her imagination to bring you Timekeeper-inspired creations. Nancy Gene decribes her process as that of a children's book illustrator. As her character-based compositions evolve, so do their stories.

Nancy Gene's cards are constructed on a scale of 11 x 4.3", working with both cardstock and Character Constructions Art Paper backgrounds. Her brilliant color palette is designed to compliment the organic nature of her creations. She favors Portfolio oil pastels, which afford a watercolor like affect, Derwent watercolour pencils, Prismacolor colored pencils and occasionally Copic markers.
